Villa Fortezza - Ohrid

The rooms at Villa Fortezza were absolutely amazing! I loved how each unit had its own private bathroom with a shower, making it convenient for our family. The air conditioning was a big plus, especially during the hot summer days. The flat-screen TV and fridge added a touch of modern comfort to our stay. The best part was the spa-like experience in the apartment, with a hot tub and slippers provided. It felt like a luxurious getaway!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the tile/marble floor in one of the double rooms. But hey, that's just my preference and some people might find it stylish!

Best possible location really close to old town of Ohrid, the lake, everything perfect. The rooms are luxurious with comfortable bed, liked that. Beautiful decor, views of the lake. Location close to the castle. And it is very close to restaurants.

The apartment at Villa Fortezza was absolutely stunning with a modern and spectacular design. It felt like walking into a magazine spread! The bed sheets and towels were immaculately clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location offered an absolute unique view, making it worth a visit.

Road access to the villa was difficult and steep.

Modern villa with traditional/modern exterior matching the old town. Compact and spacious with refreshing pool and spectacular view. Friendly host and helpful staff. Convenient central location, walking distance to attractions. High-end amenities and clean, luxurious rooms with comfortable beds.

We loved the amazing view from the terrace and pool. The rooms were very clean and the beds and bathrooms were nice. The location was perfect, with all the nice restaurants within a short walk. As guests with children, we appreciated the pool and the spaciousness of the villa.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location in the old town of Ohrid was perfect for exploring the city. I was able to easily walk to the castle with amazing views of the lake and the entire city. The hotel itself was very clean and had modern facilities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even allowed me to check-in late at night after I experienced travel issues. The view from the balcony was fine, overlooking the bay of Ohrid.

For us, this hotel was ideal.

We spent a week in the biggest apartment on the top floor and were blown away by the stunning views of the lake from both balconies. The room was luxuriously furnished, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Having cooking facilities in the room was a bonus. The location in the Old Town was perfect for exploring, with all the best restaurants just a short walk away. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We didn't want to leave this beautiful place!

The setting was beautiful and the rooms were quaint and romantic. I particularly loved the simplicity of the decor. The view from our balcony was lovely, offering a amazing vista of the surroundings. It was such a treat to wake up to such a fine sight.

Although it was mentioned that there was a steep uphill walk to return to the hotel, we found it to be a nice way to burn a few extra calories after a lovely meal. for some, it might be too much of a walk each day.
